Calm The Mind With Rosebud Tea

I wanted to share a little botanical love which is featuring in our next weeks MIND. BODY. RESET “De-Stress & Replenish” day retreat.

The birthplace of the cultivated Rose was documented in Northern Persia. However evidence could be found from ancient Chinese medicine books that the people used to consider this as a form of medicine. The buds are known to contain a high amount of vitamin C and the polyphenol group called “Catechins”.

The use of the rose is far and varied. It has a long history in its use in folk remedies, especially in the area of skincare... AND....

1: Also offers a soothing property to the nerves and emotional /psychological state of mind. It is regarded as a mild sedative and said to improve mood and nervous tension.

2: There is indication that rose essence may also positively influence digestion, supporting bile secretion.

Whilst we do not have any science to support these claims ...Nature often knows best and trusting in ancient traditional medicine modalities which use nature first and for most to heal. because that’s all they had. I would recommend taking a little 5 mins out of your day to have a little cup of this beautiful Rosebud

tea to calm your mind.
